Jason is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and his style of therapy is to use a mixture of motivation and challenging exchanges to help clients manage the interation of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.  His clinical spcialty includes individual, couple, and family counseling.  He has experience working with children and adolescents and specializes in anger management, treatment of anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Caitlin Reeves

Caitlin Reeves, LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Shane Young

Shane Young, LCPC - Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Shane is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Bradley University Alumni with training in Biofeeback, Neurofeedback and qEEG.  He is a ceritified Brain Health Coach with Amen Clinics and is working toward becoming Board Certified in Neurofeedback.  Shane is also a fitness enthusiast and coaches young athletes.  He is a certifed woman's S.A.F.E. and R.A.D. self-defense instructor. He is a military veteran and a First Responder.  Shane specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, domestic violence, concussion recovery, and performance anxiety.  He is passionate about helping people of all ages and demographics through their healing journey.

Malinda Lehnert

Malinda Lehnert, M.S., LMFT - Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

Malinda is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who provides a therapeutic approach that is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and incorporates a warm, curious style.  She specializes in treatment and recovery from childhood and adulthood trauma and helps clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood issues and relationship difficulties.  Shis also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and in Attachment-Based Family Therapy with expertise in guiding parents, caregivers, and their adolescents and teenagers toward healthy relationships.

Ted Chapin, Ph.D., LCP - President

Ted is a licensed clinical psychologist who is the founder and co-director of Chapin & Russell Associates, a private counseling and consulting service in Peoria, Illinois. He is certified in career counseling and vocational assessment. Ted received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, and Business from Carroll College and his Master's and Ph.D. in Counseling and Personnel Services from Marquette University. He is a recognized speaker and trainer in the fields of management effectiveness training and organizational wellness. He utilizes a brief strategy approach to counseling and is trained in the use of psychological assessment in business and industry. Ted is a member of the American Association for counseling and Development, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, Academy of Mediators, and the Association of American Vocational Experts.

Brad Post

Brad Post, LCSW, CADC, SAP - Vice President

Brad is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Illinois. His academic concentration in community mental health, occupational social work, and business administration, enhances his ability to work with today's work population. His training experience includes Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, Drug Free Workplace, Conflict Resolution, Conquering Anxiety and Diversity in the Workplace. Brad is also a Certified Addictions Counselor and belongs to the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the National Association of Social Work. He has extensive experience in the promotion of wellness, whole person counseling, and is a trained neurotherapist.

Lori Russell-Chapin

Lori Russell-Chapin, Ph.D., LCPC

In Loving Memory of Lori Ann Russell-Chapin, Ph.D. (1951-2024)

A Devoted Wife, Mother, Friend, Counselor, Colleague and Professor at Bradley University.

Lori touched the lives of many and healed the hearts and souls of those she served. She was the Co-founder of Chapin & Russell Asociates with her husband and life partner, Ted Chapin, Ph.D. Together they published several books on counseling, supervision and neurofeedback. As a prolific author, researcher and practitioner with a column in "Counseling Today", she and Ted shared their knowledge with professionals across the world.

Lori's passion was living life with love and applying neuroscience in counseling practice. She was Board Certified in Neurofeedback, coined the term "Neurocounseling," and was a beloved teacher, supervisor and mentor to several of our staff. Lori will be deeply missed and always remembered by her clients, colleagues, friends and family.

Caterina Richardson
