Staff Profiles

Emily is a Licensed Professional Counselor whose style of therapy includes compassionate, cognitive/behavioral, faith-based and whole-person interventions that reflect her light hearted and kind personality.  Her clinical specialties include treatment of adolescent, adult, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.  She has experience in counseling for stress management, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties.  Emily assists her clients in differentiating between symptoms and causes, including identifying self-defeating behaviors that can be replaced with healthy coping skills and habits.  She believes in optimizing strengths and empowering lasting change through the building of resilience.

Shane is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Bradley University Alumni with training in Biofeeback, Neurofeedback and qEEG.  He is a ceritified Brain Health Coach with Amen Clinics and is working toward becoming Board Certified in Neurofeedback.  Shane is also a fitness enthusiast and coaches young athletes.  He is a certifed woman's S.A.F.E. and R.A.D. self-defense instructor. He is a military veteran and a First Responder.  Shane specializes in treating anxiety, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders, eating disorders, PTSD, substance abuse, domestic violence, concussion recovery, and performance anxiety.  He is passionate about helping people of all ages and demographics through their healing journey.

Sarah eaerned her master's degree from the University of Illinois in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Sarah is passionate about fitness and wellness and strongly believes that mental health and physical health are deeply connected. Sarah has a passion for empowering individuals through a strengths-based approach and wholeheartedly beleives in the power of self-preservation. She specializes in supporting people who experience anxiety, depression, mood issues, trauma, relationship stress, life transitions, and emotional burnout. In addition, Sarah has extensive experience helping people navigate co-morbidities and the mental anguish that is associated with new challenges that come along in life. She is a realist with an empathetic approach and will work with you to recognize your potential and cultivate the force that resides inside. Sarah is committed to providing a safe, therapeutic space that allows you to fully engage and challenge you beliefs in a manner that will enhance your life beyond measure.

Brad is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Illinois. His academic concentration in community mental health, occupational social work, and business administration, enhances his ability to work with today's work population. His training experience includes Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, Drug Free Workplace, Conflict Resolution, Conquering Anxiety and Diversity in the Workplace. Brad is also a Certified Addictions Counselor and belongs to the National Association of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors, and the National Association of Social Work. He has extensive experience in the promotion of wellness, whole person counseling, and is a trained neurotherapist.

Caterina Richardson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a Master's Degree in Counseling from Bradley University.  Caterina has over ten years of experience working with mental health issues.  She has received a certification in Primary Care Behavioral Health through the University of Massachusetts.  Caterina has spent much of her career focusing on treatment of adjustment issues, depressive disorders, anxiety issues and personality disorders in adults and adolescent populations.  Caterina utilizes a non-judgmental, realistic and practical approach to assessment, problem solving, and facilitating change.
