What is an E.A.P.?

An E.A.P. is an Employee Assistance Program. E.A.P. is a service that provides brief counseling or assessment and referral for employees and family members who are covered under the organization's E.A.P.. It is designed to assist workers in solving problems to help them maintain or regain their health and well-being.

Who can use the E.A.P.?

The E.A.P. is for employees and members of the immediate household. The number of sessions available per presenting problem vary according to the organization's contract.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost to employees or family members to use the E.A.P.. The cost of the service is covered by the organization so is FREE to those who use it.

Who will know I attended E.A.P.?

No one knows who uses the E.A.P. unless the person seeking the help signs a written consent form allowing the E.A.P. counselor to share information about the session. Confidentiality is protected by law.

How soon can I get an appointment?

We make every effort to offer an appointment within two business days. If a person's schedule is limited, a person may wait a little longer for an appointment that will accommodate their schedule.

How qualified is the E.A.P.?

All have a minimum of a Master's degree with additional licenses and certifications in their respective specialty areas.
